Welcome

At Round Tower, the uniqueness and individuality of each and every child is valued and celebrated. We believe that children need to feel safe and happy in order to learn and we strive to create a nurturing and welcoming environment.

High quality learning and teaching are central to our ethos. Children have the opportunity to engage in creative and challenging learning both in and out of the classroom, developing knowledge alongside transferrable skills.

We endeavour to build, maintain and sustain positive relationships with and between all members of our school community. We seek to engage fully with parents and carers as well as external agencies so our children may meet their full potential, in turn becoming responsible, respectful and compassionate citizens

As an integrated school we aim to provide a learning environment where children from Catholic and Protestant backgrounds, as well as those of other faiths and none can learn with, from and about each other. We celebrate and value diversity and aim to provide a safe, happy and inclusive learning environment for all.

Good luck to all of our P7s sitting the SEAG Test tomorrow!
This week our Nursery children have been celebrating Anti-Bullying Week by thinking about kindness: - we wore odd socks to celebrate how each of us is different - we decorated pictures of odd socks - we sorted some pictures into ‘kind’ and ‘unkind’ - we talked about ways we can be kind to others - we learnt about bullying by reading The Ugly Duckling - we acted out the story with puppets - we read ‘The Smartest Giant in Town’ which tells the story of a really kind giant. The Nursery children also made a ‘pinky promise’ to be kind ❤️
Open Day 2025- We’d love you to join us!
A massive well done to the winners of our Key Stage ‘Top Doodler’ awards, our stars of the week and to House Tiree, who have won the House Cup for the first half term 🏆
P5 have been busy learning about evergreen and deciduous trees and animals that hibernate in leaves. They also looked at different leaves, shapes and features and noticed the different markings and colours. In maths, the class created Carroll diagrams outdoors. Finally, each child made a poppy and remembered why they are significant. Well done everyone!
P6/7 enjoyed Outdoor Classroom Day today, creating winter homes for animals!
